Madeleine trained in art history at NYU, spent five years curating independent exhibitions examining the intersection of everyday life, material culture, and art history, and now researches and writes on women, power, and the sociocultural structures of early modern Europe. Her work is grounded in primary sources like the Calendar of State Papers and the Letters and Papers of Henry VIII, as well as examines the historiographical landscape.
